A highlight for Karem Shrine was in November 1935, with a two-day All-State Ceremonial.
The downtown parade stretched for miles. The First Section was held the Shrine's Crystal Ballroom, the Second Section was conducted at the Historic Cotton Place Coliseum with attendance of over 2500 Nobles. This was the beginning of what is now known as T.S.A. (Texas Shrine Association). Karem's Potentate, Rolla Greig, was the first President of TSA.
